Collaborate

We work with partners across multiple sectors to generate blue-sky science and on-the-ground impact. If you’d like to collaborate with us on a coastal ecosystem restoration project, please take a look at the different opportunities below and contact a senior member of the research team.

  • Large research council grants
We work with universities and charities in the UK and internationally on major research projects.
  • Research fellowships
We closely mentor applicants through the fellowship application procedure. Both the research group, department and university provide significant support for researchers during their fellowship.
  • Match-funded PhD studentships
We can work with business, charities and NGOs to develop a collaborative PhD project, and apply for university funding to cover some of the studentship costs.
  • Knowledge Transfer Partnerships
There is generous funding available to embed a graduate researcher within an external organisation to help translate our research group’s scientific knowledge into useful impact.
  • Research tenders
We can work with you to carry out specific research projects, addressing urgent questions that your organisation needs to answer.
  • Analytical facilities
Our research laboratories can host visiting researchers or perform measurements using our standard protocols.
